Luna Runtún is now Luna Volcán

Hotel Luna Runtun changes its name to Luna Volcán in homage to the main icon of Baños: the Tungurahua Volcano, which magnifies the region with waterfalls, hot springs, lush forests and spectacular views.

On the 19th anniversary of the evacuation of Baños due to the eruption of the volcano in 1999, the Hotel wants to leave a legacy for future generations, a name that reflects the resilience, faith in their protector the Virgin of the Rosary of Agua Santa and love of the Baneños for their people.

The Romantic Hotel Luna Volcán, Adventure Spa will continue to operate with the same team of Luna Runtún, led by Carmen Luna Fiallos.
