Itinerary:
Departure from Luna Volcán by transport, it is a 7 km hike on the same trail used by alcohol smugglers in 1920, this trail was perhaps the most walked by Mr. Fidel Fiallos, grandfather of Carmen Luna who was known as the most famous smuggler of all times.
After crossing the Cristal River, passing through a banana and tangerine plantation, we walk downhill to admire the "Manto de la Novia" waterfall. Impressive views of the Llanganates National Park, the inaccessible mountains that hide the treasure of the Inca Emperor Atahualpa.
After crossing a suspension bridge and going up to La Merced, transportation will pick us up for the return to the hotel. The 60% of the hike is flat.
